The LEDs are placed on a unique patented SinkPADTMII MCPCB which provides the best available* heat conducting path.
The LED assembly must be used with matching LED drivers. If using with ReedLedLab controller and drivers, control channels on the drivers can be configured by jumpers. Instructions.
Features:
- Full-spectrum
- Small dimensions (size is determined by secondary optics)
- 12 power LEDs with best efficiency commercially available at the time of manufacture**
- 9 LED types combined in 7 independent channels, to provide unique control over spectrum**
- Sufficient radiation in true violet range, to provide for best coloration, fluorescence, and coral growth**
- Complete control, to provide a cooler or warmer white, through the use of PC Amber LED**
- LED Protection Devices to monitor the health of each LED on the assembly
- A unique SinkPADTMII metal board with an improved heat path (up to 180W/m.K from the LED crystal to the board and an improved heat transfer from board to heatsink), can be used with passive cooling heatsinks to achieve a most reliable fanless solution
- Minimized “Disco effect”, due to densely populated LEDs and the use of hybrid secondary optics with diffusers
- A completely solderless solution simplifies the assembly
- 100% quality control for all LEDs on the assembly

When using a 7ch LED assembly with a 6ch controller you can combine the Blue and Turquois LEDs in one channel.
Use our Spectrum Simulator to evaluate the spectral output of the LED assembly in different modes:
The spectral graphs are based on mathematical simulation and are provided for reference only.
