Number of independent drivers | 2 |
Number of channels in dimmer control bus* | 9 |
Drivers supply voltage range** | 6 ... 60V |
Maximum output current, ma*** | 700, 1000, 1200 |
Dimming resolution (number of steps) | up to 20,000 |
Output current range, mA | 0.001 to 1200 |
Efficiency, %, up to | 98 |
Board dimensions: | |
Length, mm / in | 55 / 2.17 |
Width, mm / in | 52 / 2.05 |
Height, mm / in | 15.3 / 0.60 |
Weight, grams / oz | 40 / 1.41 |
Completely solderless assembly. Matching connectors are included. | YES |
“*” | jumper-select any 2 channels of 9 |
“**” | driver’s supply voltage must be higher than the required output voltage (determined by the number and type of LEDs connected in chain) |
“***” | maximum current is set by a jumper, separately for each driver |
Attention! Never apply power to driver assemblies before connecting the LEDs! This may cause permanent damage to the LEDs.
If you violated this rule, disconnect power from the drivers and let them sit unconnected for at least 48 hours, to discharge the internal capacitors. Then, first connect the LEDs, and only then apply power.
Connectors and pinouts
X1 | Power connector IMPORTANT: PAY ATTENTION TO POLARITY, AS INDICATED ON THE PCB. WRONG POLARITY WOULD DAMAGE THE DRIVER ASSEMBLY |
X2 | PWM inputs connector |
Pinout:
Pin | Description |
1 | Signal ground |
2 | Channel 9 input |
3 | Channel 8 input |
4 | Channel 7 input |
5 | Channel 6 input |
6 | Channel 5 input |
7 | Channel 4 input |
8 | Channel 3 input |
9 | Channel 2 input |
10 | Channel 1 input |
XP1-XP2 | When the XP Jumper is inserted, this enables the power to the corresponding driver (Power ON). When the XP Jumper is removed, this disables the power to the corresponding driver (Power OFF). Units are shipped with both jumpers installed. We recommend disabling unused drivers by removing the corresponding jumper. |
SW1-SW2 | Jumpers for driver control channel selection. SW1 selects control channel (1..9) for driver 1, SW2 - for driver 2. |
1XI-2XI | Three-pin connectors to select corresponding drivers' maximum output current. Set the jumper to position marked 1.2 for 1200ma, or to position 1.0 for 1000ma, 700ma unconnected. |
XL | LEDs connector. IMPORTANT: PAY ATTENTION TO POLARITY, AS INDICATED ON THE PCB. WRONG POLARITY MAY DAMAGE THE LEDs. |
